Trump says Saudi king agrees to ramp up oil production on  June 30, 2018 Washington: US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia´s King Salman had agreed to his request to ramp up oil production, a week after OPEC already announced an output rise. The official Saudi Press Agency confirmed a phone call between the two leaders about oil, but mentioned no specifics. "Just spoke to King Salman of Saudi Arabia and explained to him that, because of the turmoil & dysfunction in Iran and Venezuela, I am asking that Saudi Arabia increase oil production, maybe up to 2,000,000 barrels, to make up the difference," Trump announced in an early morning tweet. U.S. government says it will detain migrant children with parents -  June 29, 2018 WASHINGTON:  The U.S. government said in a court filing on Friday that it has the right to detain children and parents caught crossing the U. S. border illegally for the duration of their immigration proceedings. A 1997 court settlement known as the Flores agreement has generally been interpreted to require the Department of Homeland Security to release illegal immigrant children from custody after 20 days. But Justice Department lawyers said in the filing in U.S. District Court in California on Friday that they now have no choice but to hold children for as long as it takes to resolve their immigration cases, because of a preliminary injunction issued on Tuesday in a separate immigration case. Imran's wife reconciles women workers protesting over party tickets in Lahore -  June 29, 2018 LAHORE: Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Friday reconciled women workers of the party staging protest over distribution of party tickets outside Khan's Lahore residence. PTI women workers were staging the protest over distribution of tickets for Punjab Assembly constituencies PP-65 Mandi Bahauddin and PP-14 Rawalpindi. The disgruntled women workers held a meeting with the PTI chairman, which also had Bushra Bibi in presence. The wife of the PTI chief managed to reconcile the disgruntled workers at the meeting.
